Applying for Admission
Males age 18 through 25 must have registered for selective service to enroll. Register here.

  • Print the application; complete it, mail or deliver to the Office of Admissions and Records, P.O. Box 10048, Montgomery, Alabama 36108.
  • Please do not fax applications to the Office of Admissions and Records.
  • Please remember to sign your admissions application.
  • The Residency Verification (such as a copy of your valid Alabama driver’s license or state ID) must be presented in person. The name on your license/state ID and application must be the same.
  • There is no application fee.
Method 2 - Online Application
Submit your application information online.
  • Carefully follow the instructions provided on each screen.
  • Complete each field on each page before you continue to proceed.
  • Print the application when prompted and keep for your records. Your electronic signature is required to submit your application.
  • The Residency Verification (such as a copy of your valid driver’s license or state ID) must be presented in person. The name on your license/state ID and application must be the same.
  • If you completed a FAFSA, Trenholm State’s School Code is 005734, but did so prior to completing an application for admissions, it is likely that the online admissions application will not work for you. Please use method 1 instead.
  • You must have an email account to complete the online application.
  • Please do not fax applications to the Office of Admissions and Records.
Applicants who seek an Enrollment Term that is not listed should apply for admissions using Method 1 only. Applicants to the Dual Enrollment Program should apply for admissions using Method 1 only.

What Happens Next?
Once your ID information and completed/signed application for admissions have been received you will receive correspondence via email and/or a letter informing you of your enrollment status via U.S. postal service.
