Strada Presidential Scholars Program
Strada Scholars is a part of a nationwide scholars program aimed at leadership development, academic success and critical social engagement.
Application Deadline: July 15, 2023
The program focuses on 3 aspects:
- Leadership: Students selected for this program are identified as leaders and will engage in social issues within the community.
- Internship: To provide progressive learning experiences to prepare students for the 21st century workforce.
- Scholarship: To support students and families to breakdown financial barriers to allow persistence and completion.
Requirements
- Must be an incoming freshman( no prior post secondary college or university experience)
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student ( 12 or more hours)
- Must participate in mentoring and career coaching activities during participation
- Cummulative GPA of 3.0
