The Trenholm State Community College (TSCC) Financial Aid Office is transitioning to an enhanced, system-wide software starting May 2020 for the 2020-2021 school year. If you have completed the 2020-2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you will begin receiving email correspondence regarding your financial aid eligibility starting late May. While we eagerly await the availability of the new software, the TSCC Financial Aid Office encourages students to visit www.studentaid.gov to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to import 2018 tax information and to make any necessary corrections to their 2020-2021 FAFSA. Reviewing your FAFSA for errors and utilizing the IRS Data Retrieval Tool will help to expedite the financial aid process as we begin to process your financial aid application for fall 2020. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this transition. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Financial Aid at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The primary purpose of student financial aid at Trenholm State Community College is to assist students with meeting the cost of their education. Financial assistance is meant to supplement the amount you and your family contribute, not replace it. There are many sources of financial aid, including federal, state and local funds. The primary types of assistance available at the College to assist students are: grants, Veterans Affairs (VA), work-study and scholarships. Trenholm State does not participate in any federal loan program.
Due to circumstances associated with COVID-19, these programs will be postponing the application deadlines for fall 2020. Once a new deadline is established it will be posted to the program's web page.
Trenholm State Community College has events throughout the year to benefit the River Region community, students and alumni. Check back later for more events.
