ACCUPLACER Placement Assessment

ACCUPLACER Assessment Information

ACCUPLACER® Placement Assessment is a computerized assessment of skills in Math, Reading, and Writing.  It is used to measure a student’s readiness for college-level courses. It is also a tool we use to help enroll students in the class which corresponds to individual skill levels. Prospective students do not have to schedule an appointment to take the ACCUPLACER Placement Assessment. Walk-ins will be accepted on scheduled test dates; Testing will start at 8:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. and takes approximately 3.0 hours to complete.

Your application for admission to the college must be on file in the Office of Admissions and Records before you come to test. You must have a valid driver's license or a state-issued non-driving ID card with you to test.  It is highly recommended that a student take the placement test at least 5 business days prior to any program deadline that one may need to meet. Did you know that there are study guides available to help you prepare for the ACCUPLACER? Please see the information below for study guides, materials, and practice resources for the ACCUPLACER.
