According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, occupations related to health care are projected to have the fastest job growth between 2010 and 2020. Here, an education in health-related fields includes hands-on clinical experience so graduates can fast-forward into the job market. So choose a program of study and start exploring!
AHEC Scholars Program

Thank you for your interest in the Nursing programs at Trenholm State. Information about the next application cycle will be available here by the end of March 2023. The new applications for the Nursing programs will not be available until the next application cycle begins.
- An ACT composite score of 18 is the minimum requirement for application to the Practical Nursing Certificate Option or the Registered Nursing Program and there are no exceptions. ACT Superscores are not accepted by the Nursing program.
- All pre-requisite courses must be completed prior to submitting the nursing application. The completed pre-requisite courses must be on the applicant’s transcript(s) on submission of the application. ALL transcripts must be included in the application packet.
- All math (MTH) and science (BIO) pre-requisite courses must be taken within 5 years of application to the Nursing program.
- All pre-requisite courses, other minimum requirements for application, and additional information can be found on the Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing Program webpages. All applicants must be unconditionally accepted by TSCC prior to applying to the Nursing program. Please be advised that there is a separate application and application process for the Nursing programs at TSCC.

At its August 6, 2020 meeting, the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) granted the dental assisting program the accreditation status of “approval without reporting requirements.” The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education.
The DMS (Sonography) program has achieved the following 5-year average National Registry pass rates: 95% Physics; 89% Abdomen; 86% OB/GYN
