From Student to Mentor: Spencer Moyer Inspires the Next Generation Through Automotive Education

Class of 2014 alumnus Spencer Moyer continues to exemplify the impact of career and technical education through his accomplishments in the automotive industry and his commitment to mentoring the next generation. A graduate of the Automotive Services Program at Trenholm State Community College, Moyer built a successful career in the automotive services field spanning more than 15 years. His extensive industry experience, technical expertise, and dedication to excellence have established him as a respected professional while allowing him to positively influence countless aspiring automotive technicians. 

Today, Moyer serves as an Automotive Services teacher in the Dallas County area, where he is inspiring and preparing young individuals for meaningful careers in the automotive industry. Through his leadership, diligence, and passion for education. Recently, two of his automotive students were among the first to attend Trenholm State’s open house for the new Ford FAST TRAC Program, an innovative partnership with Ford Motor Company designed to equip students with advanced automotive training and workforce-ready skills. Moyer’s journey from Trenholm State student to educator reflects the college’s mission of developing skilled professionals who create lasting impact within their communities and industries.
