Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Position Overview

The Signs Now Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the frontline contact for our walk-in and phone-in customers. The main focus of the Signs Now CSR position is providing superior customer experiences and conducting inside sales activities following our consultative sales approach. The CSR is also responsible for job scheduling and final quality control. Preparation and follow-up on estimates, orders and customer inquiries through the use of our Point of Sale (POS) system is a primary function of this position. (Training on our POS system is provided.) In addition, the CSR is responsible for completing tasks on our Daily Activity Calendar which include: Estimate follow-up, management of lingering built orders, target in-house marketing initiatives, contacting dormant accounts, and Internet sales lead management. Our CSR will also hold responsibility of additional sales, marketing and branding initiatives as warranted and discussed with the owner/management team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Expertise in Internet search
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Professional, upbeat, positive attitude
• Sharp attention to detail
• Keen multi-tasking abilities
• Self-motivated and team player
• Ability to continue and build professional relationships with diverse customer/prospect base
• Previous experience in business-to-business customer service a plus
• Previous sales experience a plus
• Knowledge of sign industry substrates, media, products a plus but not necessary
