Our goal is for your success!

CTE Scholarship

The student must be in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade and have a 2.0 GPA or higher for most technical programs. Approval from the high school principal and counselor or the home school director is also required.

Each student who receives a Dual Enrollment Technology Scholarship must have declared a technical program of study and only courses required for that program of study will be eligible for scholarship funds.

Dual Enrollment technology scholarship funds may be used to cover not only the required technical courses but required academic courses (English, Math & Science), as well.

Dual Enrollment Technology scholarship funds may be used to cover tuition, textbooks, and supplies depending on the availability of funds, the needs of the individual student, and the requirements of the technical classes. The scope of each scholarship is determined by available funding and the scholarship grant guidelines. Costs covered will be determined on an individual basis.

Scholarships will only be awarded in those programs approved by the Alabama Community College System. Programs designated as eligible for Dual Enrollment Workforce Development Scholarship funding at Trenholm State Community College include:
